Filtration Methods
The SeaPack (Sea-Pack) uses a membrane filter combined with a Sports Syrup to remove all viruses, bacteria and other substances to 3-5 Angstroms (0.3 -0.5 billionths of a meter, 0.0003 microns).
The AquaSafeStraw uses a polyethylene membrane that filters down to 0.2 micron, exceeding the US CDC recommendation of 1 micron to effectively remove Giardia and Cryptosporidium.
Product Safety
Sea-Pack products are very safe to use removing bacteria, Giardia and Cryptosporidium and virus’s and metals out of water.
The AquaSafeStraw uses a membrane technology that filter out all (99.9999%) bacteria, Giardia and Cryptosporidium. Water WILL NOT pass through the AquaSafeStraw when no longer effective.
