The AquaSafeBottle+ is a portable, chemical free, light weight, safe for all, water filtration straw that allows to drink bacteria (99.9999%) and virus free (99.99%) void of and  99.9999% of Giardia or Cryptosporidium water safely anywhere around the world. What else it is very environmentally friendly

The AquaSafeBottle+ is a plastic straw fitted with a special membrane which uses ultrafiltration technology and is suitable for personal use to protect against water borne bacteria, viruses and protozoa found in the tap water of many countries. When used in accordance with the operating and maintenance instructions contained below, it filters out 99.99% of these micro-organisms and viruses including Giardia and Cryptosporidium. AquaSafeBottle+ is compact, lightweight, simple to use and an essential traveling companion.

AquaSafeBottle+ is designed only for removing water bacteria and water viruses in either a glass filled with water or directly from a stream. It is designed for use single person use and must be treated with care. AquaSafeBottle+ has not been designed to remove the taste of the water.

If operating and maintenance instructions are observed, the AquaSafeBottle+ can be expected to filter up to 1000 liters from water supplies.

The AquaSafeBottle+ consists of two parts - the 1 liter bottle - hollow fibre filter membrane housed in a  hard outer casing, which fits into your AquaSafeBottle.

The Filter Membrane

The filter is made of multiple hollow fibre membranes, 60 plus metres, packed into a casing. These membranes are produced by a melt spun and drawn processes from 100% polyethersulfone raw materials. After the membrane is manufactured the surface is coated with hydrophilic polymer to aid the filtration process. Filter membranes have a pore size of 0.01 micron.

Operating Instructions

 

For optimum results, completely fill the water bottle with water and place the filter back in the bottle and tightly screw the lid back on. Once tightened drink through the mouthpiece as one normally sips through a standard mouth piece of the water bottle. Water flow can be aided by squeezing the AquaSafeBottle+ whilst drinking.

Should the product not be reused within 5 days, the product should be cleaned and stored

While the water bottle is in continuous use refill as necessary.  To store the product,  once the product is thoroughly dry, store the product in dry and cool conditions.

Note:The AquaSafeBottle+ is not designed to remove chemical contaminants, heavy metals contained in water.

 

Cleaning and Maintenance Instructions

The capacity of the AquaSafeBottle+ to filter water depends on the quality of water to be filtered. In addition the following conditions must be met for effective use of the AquaSafeBottle+. To be stored in cool and dry conditions;
Not to be used on water above 35 °C or below 2°C. Not to be damaged through tapping or heavily shaken, nor placing sharp objects inside the unit as it may damage the filter. Regularly wipe the exterior of the AquaSafeBottle+ with an anti-bacterial wipe after use, do not use if tip is still wet from the wipe.
